Carroll Burnett Watts, otherwise known as C.B., passed away January 27, 2019 at the age of 77.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 20, 1941 to Burnett Louis Watts and Thelma Pauline (Phillips) Watts.
Carroll joined the Navy in 1959 and served 10 years as yeoman first class. He earned his Master’s degree and had retired from working as a Certified Public Accountant.
He married Julie Briggs in 1960 and together they had three children, Sharon Kay, Michael Alan, and Patricia Lynn.
They divorced in 1969. In 1970, he married Sharon Lynn and they had a son, Christopher Burnett.
C.B. trained hunting dogs, including one for President George H. W. Bush. He managed the Blue Diamond Ranch and guided hunts for 25 years, where he met Tammy and lived out the rest of his years in Marathon, Texas.
Mr. Watts is survived by his children, Sharon, Michael, Patricia, and Christopher; sisters, Louise Reynolds and Maxine Jones; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
